Welcome to The Shabby Chick.

 

My name is Claire and I run The Shabby Chick from my home on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, which I share with my husband, three sons and our crazy labrador, Remy.  

 

After years working in and around marketing departments for corporates - I have found some true loves... paint, furniture, antiques, colour, texture, history, design, light, shapes, styling and decor.  In starting The Shabby Chick I have embarked on an amzing journey where I am constantly romanced by old furniture, inspired by new ideas and committed to bringing these things together to create my own unique furniture style.

 

My facebook group THE SHABBY CHICK has become my main means of showcasing my furniture designs. I paint 3-4 new pieces a week, and each item is one of a kind.  If you would like to keep up to date with my new pieces, click the picture of me on this page to join my facebook group.
